    (a) In this painting the painter celebrates the emergence of painting. It is shown that the printing machine is being carried down by a goddess descending from heaven on two sides of the machine goddess Minerva and goddess Mercury are blessing the machine.
    The women in the foreground are holding plaques with the portraits of six pioneer printers of different countries. In the middle ground on the left's the encircled picture of Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing machine.
    (b) First attribute, the painter tried to emphasize was that printing is a divine gift from heaven, carried down by a goddess from heaven to earth.
    Secondly, it symbolize wisdom and reason, being represented by Minerva the goddess of wisdom and Mercury the goddess of reason.
