    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

There are many things around us. Some are living and some are non-living. Living things can move on their own, need food, feel and can have babies, e.g., lizard. Non-living things cannot move on their own, do not need food, do not feel and cannot have babies, e.g., plastic spoon, chair, ball, etc. Non-living things can be further classified into once alive and never alive. Once alive things are those things that are obtained from living things after destroying them. Wooden chair is made up of wood which is obtained from the tree (living thing). Thus, wooden chair was once alive but now is a non-living thing. Gold earrings are made up of gold which is a non-living thing that was never alive.
