Tropical evergreen forests are not commercially exploited due to hot and wet climate. The region m has dense vegetation of all kind of trees, shrubs, creepers and grass. There is no proper means  of transportation. The areas are inaccessible. The hard wooded trees cannot be transported j through rivers. Owing to prevalence of diseases and thick undergrowth, they are not of much ' commercial value.
