Payal purchased top for Rs.250, a bag for Rs.480, a book for Rs.115 and a tennis racket for Rs.500. What is the total money spent by Priya and Payal together in shopping?

    Solution :

    Money spent by Priya = Rs.550 (shoes) + Rs.275 (skirt) + Rs.50 (movie DVD) = Rs.875 Money spent by Payal = Rs.250 (top) + Rs.480 (bag) + Rs.115 (book) + Rs.500 (tennis racket) = Rs.1345 The total money spent by Priya and Payal together = Rs.875 + Rs.1345 = Rs.2220.
