Through questioning, the inefficiency of the government can be brought to light. (c) Moreover, parliament ensures that the government remains responsive to public opinion because it can pass a vote of no-confidence which can lead to the fall of the government. (d) Parliament can enact laws which have the majority support, keeps the judiciary under check by the power to impeach judges that it possesses.
