How did the growth of industrialisation change the social and political equation of Europe?

    Answer:

Industrialisation in its wake brought considerable change in socio-political sphere. Western and central parts of Europe witnessed rapid growth of industralisation leading to the growth of towns and cities and a strong commercial class whose existence was based on production for the market.
This industralisation also resulted in the emergence of working class population and a new middle class comprising industrialists, businessmen and professionals.
It was among these educated, liberal, middle classes that the ideas of national unity and of abolition of aristocratic privileges gained popularity. All these changes had great impact on the society and political life of the people.
