    A) ?1 only?????????? ??????????????

    B) ?2 and 3 only

    C) ?3 and 4 only????

    D) ?1, 2, 3 and 4

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

?In most cases the orbit of a comet is an elongated narrow ellipse and they do not follow circular path. The tail of a comet is dragged away from the sun because the presence of solar wind drives off the tail from the head of the comet. It is true that Halley's Comet completes one revolution around the sun in 76 years and its last visit to the earth was in 1985-86. Hence its next visit is due in 2061.
