    Solution :

                    \[W=\frac{{{F}^{2}}}{2k}\]             If both springs are stretched by same force then\[W\propto \frac{1}{k}\]             As \[{{k}_{1}}>{{k}_{2}}\] therefore \[{{W}_{1}}<{{W}_{2}}\]             i.e. more work is done in case of second spring.
