    Down?s syndrome occurs due to the presence of an additional copy of chromosome number 21 (trisomy). Such individuals are short statured with small, round head and furrowed tongue and partially open mouth. Klinefelter?s syndrome occurs due to the presence of an additional copy of X-chromosome resulting in the karyotype of 47, XXY in males or 47, XXX in females. Such individuals are sterile.
