Answer:

(i) Due to accumulation of waste in water body, the amount of dissolved oxygen has decreased and water body has become toxic. This process is called eutrophication.

(ii) I would encourage people to keep the pond clean by not littering around the pond.

(iii) The people of Jhilmil are illiterate and least concerned about environment.
