    DNA fingerprinting is the technique to determine the relationship between two DNA samples by staying in similarity and dissimilarity of VNTRs (variable number tandem repeats). VNTR/repetitive DNA are distinguished as different peaks from bulk genomic DNA during density gradient centrifugation.
    Its applications are:
