    Assertion (A) In India there is no official religion of the state.
    Reason (R) The concept of secularism provides that state cannot aid or help any religion or religious institution.

    Solution :

    According to Indian Constitution Assertion A is true, but Reason R is false, because Article 30(2) of the Constitution provides that state shall not, is granting aid to educational institution, discriminate against any educational institution on the ground that it is under the management of a minority based on religion or language.
