    Let the number be \[x\]. Then,  \[37\frac{1}{2}%\] of \[x=45\Rightarrow \frac{75}{2}\times \frac{1}{100}\times x=45\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[\frac{3}{8}x=45\,\,\,\,\,\Rightarrow \,\,x=\frac{45\times 8}{3}=120\] \[\therefore \] \[87\frac{1}{2}%\] of \[120=\frac{175}{2}\times \frac{1}{100}\times 120=105\]
