    Solution :

    \[AB=AC\] and \[AD=CD\] \[\therefore \] \[AB=2AD\] Now, since AD is a tangent. \[\therefore \] \[A{{D}^{2}}=AP\times AB\] \[\therefore \] \[{{\left( \frac{AB}{2} \right)}^{2}}=AP\times AB\] \[\therefore \] \[AB=4AP\]
