    Directions: Answer the following questions based on the information given below.
    Three men and three women are travelling in two cars (red and blue). Each car has exactly three persons. The cars cannot have all women or all men passengers. Mala, Ajit and Suman know how to drive a car. Mala and Sapna are women. Manjit and Sarat are not in the same car. Ajit and Sarat are men.
    If Suman and Manjit are the two passengers in the red car, who can be passengers of the blue car?

    A)  Sapna and Sarat

    B)         Mala and Ajit

    C)         Mala and Sarat

    D)         All are correct

    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

    Since, Sarat cannot sit with Manjit in the same car, so he will have to sit in the blue car. Now, the following tables give the various possible combinations. All the combinations fulfill every prerequisite of sitting in these two cars.
    Red car Blue car
    Driver Suman, Manjit, Sapna Ajit, Mala Sarat
    Driver Suman, Mala, Manjit Ajit, Sarat, Sapna
    Drive Suman, Ajit, Manjit Mala Sarat, Sapna
    Thus, we can see all the given choices are satisfied So, we cannot single out any one choice.
