Direction: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below: There are eight boxes which are painted in different colours, viz Black, Maroon, Grey, Brown, Purple, Pink, Magenta and Violet. Each of them contains a number written on them from 1 to 8, according to which they are placed one above the other. The box containing number 1 is at the bottom and the one above it is numbered 2 and so un. Each box contains different fruits, viz Apple, Grapes, Guava, Banana, Cherry, Apricot, Blackberry and Date but not necessarily in the same order. There is only one box between the Maroon box and the one which contains Cherry. There are three boxes between the Brown box and the one which contains Apricot. The number 4 is written on the Violet box. The box which contains Blackberry is placed immediately above the Magenta box, which contains neither Apricot nor Apple. The Purple box does not contain Blackberry. The box which contains Date is placed immediately above the one which contains Grapes, but not at the topmost position. There is only one box between the Pink box and the one which contains Guava. There are three boxes placed between the Magenta and Black boxes. The number of boxes placed above the Pink box is the same as the number of boxes placed between the Brown and Pink boxes. There is only one box between the one which contains Date and the Violet box. There are two boxes between the Grey box and the one which contains Apple.
