    When a word and number arrangement machine is given an input line of words and numbers, it rearranges them following a particular rule. The following is an illustration of input and rearrangement (All numbers are two-digit numbers):

    And Step VI is the last step of the above arrangement as the intended arrangement is obtained. As per the rules followed in the above steps, find out the appropriate steps for the given input.

    What is the difference between the number which is sixth from the left end and the one which is second from the left end in the last step?

    Solution :

    The machine arranges one word and one number in each step. The word comes at first position from left end and after that the number comes. The words are arranged in reverse alphabetical order and the numbers are arranged in ascending order, In case of numbers, 3 is subtracted, i.e. (28   3 =) 25 while the words are writeen in their plural forms in each step (i.e. keyboard > keyboards, donkey \[\to \] donkeys).
