     Let the mass of ethane = hydrogen \[=x\,g\] \[\therefore \]    Moles of ethane \[=\frac{x}{30}\]and moles of hydrogen \[=\frac{x}{2}\] \[\therefore \] \[{{p}_{{{H}_{2}}}}=\frac{\frac{x}{2}}{\frac{x}{2}+\frac{x}{30}}\times {{p}_{total}}=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{30}{16}p=\frac{15}{16}p\]
