    Sales in 1988=Rs. 400 thousand =Rs. 400000 Sales in 1987 =Rs. 320 thousand = Rs. 320000. Ratio \[=\frac{320000}{400000}=0.8\] Hence, the sales in 1987 is 0.8 times those of in 1988.
