    Solution :

    Let the numbers be 2x and 3x. Then,    \[\frac{2x-2}{3x+2}=\frac{1}{2}\]             \[\Rightarrow \]   \[4x-4=3x+2\]             \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=6\] \[\therefore \] Sum of numbers \[=5x=5\times 6=30\]
