    Let the value of * be x \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{50}{x}=\frac{x}{12\frac{1}{2}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{50}{x}=\frac{2x}{25}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2{{x}^{2}}=0.50\times 25\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{x}^{2}}=25\times 25\] \[\therefore \]      \[x=25\]
