    Solution :

    Let the sum lent out at 12.5% be Rs. x. \[\therefore \]Sum lent out at \[10%=1500-x.\] Now, \[\frac{(1500-x)\times 10\times 5}{100}=\frac{x\times 12.5\times 4}{100}\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[50\,\,(1500-x)=50x,\]\[2x=1500\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[x=\frac{1500}{2}\]= Rs. 750
