    Solution :

    Let \[{{r}_{1}}\]and \[{{r}_{2}}\]be the required rate of interest. Then, \[13.50=\frac{1500\times 3\times {{r}_{1}}}{100}-\frac{1500\times 3\times {{r}_{2}}}{100}\]\[=\frac{4500}{100}({{r}_{1}}-{{r}_{2}})\] \[{{r}_{1}}-{{r}_{2}}=\frac{135}{450}=\frac{27}{90}=\frac{3}{10}=0.3%\]
