    A)   Rs. 6300

    B)  Rs. 7500

    C)  Rs. 4800

    D)  Rs. 4500

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Total simple interest on Rs. 8400 for 1 yr = Rs. 588 \[\therefore \]Hate of interest \[=\frac{100\times 588}{8400\times 1}=7%\]per annum (Money at 8%) : \[\left( \text{Money}\,\,\text{at}\,\,\text{6}\frac{2}{3}% \right)=\frac{1}{3}:1=1:3\] Money lent at 8% = Rs.\[\left( 8400\times \frac{1}{4} \right)\]= Rs. 2100 Money lent at\[6\frac{2}{3}%\]= Rs. \[\left( 8400\times \frac{3}{4} \right)\]=Rs. 6300
