    2. Jupiter's four large Moons called the Galilean Moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede and Calisto). Which of the statements given above is/are correct?

    A)  Only 1

    B)  Only 2

    C)  Both 1 and 2

    D)  None of these

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

[b] Jupiter has a diameter of about 88,695 miles (142,800 kilometres) which is more than 11 times the diameter of Earth. Its volume is over 1,300 times the volume of Earth. This means that Jupiter is so big that over 1,300 Earths could fit inside of it. It weighs two and a half times the weight of all of the other eight planets put together!
