    [d] In 2001, West Bengal had the highest population density of 903 per/sqkm against 881 persons/sqkm of Bihar. In 2011, the situation was reversed as Bihar with population density of II 02 persons/sqkm occupies the top position among the large state as against 1029 persons/sqkm of West Bengal. Arunachal Pradesh with a population density of 13 persons/sqkm in 2011 has the lowest density. Sikkim's population density is 76 persons/sq. km (2011).
