Let equivalent resistance be \[R'\]Here \[R'=40\Omega .\]Now \[20\,\Omega \] resistance is in series with \[R'=\]So, the equivalent resistance of the circuit\[=20+40+60\Omega \] Current in the circuit = (2/60) amp. Current across \[80\Omega \] resistance \[=\frac{1}{2}\left[ \frac{2}{60} \right]=\frac{1}{60}\,amp.\] \[\therefore \]Reading of voltmeter \[=80\times (1/60)=1.33\,V\] Hence, the correction option is [b].
