    At 300 K W gram of air is present in the flask. \[PV=\frac{W}{m}RT\] \[PV=\frac{W}{m}R\times 300\]                ?.(i) When heated to 500 K, then air in flask = W gram             \[PV=\frac{W'}{m}R\times 500\]         ??(ii) From equations (i) and (ii)             \[\frac{W}{m}R\times 300=\frac{W'}{m}R\times 500\]                 \[W'=\frac{3W}{5}\] Amount of air escaped \[=W-W'\]                                 \[=W-\frac{3W}{5}=\frac{2W}{5}\] % of air escaped \[=\frac{2W}{5W}\times 100=40%\]
