        Work done.  \[W=\frac{1}{2}\,k{{x}^{2}}\] \[=\frac{1}{2}k\,{{\left( \frac{mg}{k} \right)}^{2}}...\]    \[[\because \,\,F=kx=mg\]]                 \[\therefore \]  \[W\propto \frac{1}{k}\]                 \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{{{W}_{A}}}{{{W}_{B}}}=\frac{{{K}_{B}}}{{{K}_{A}}}=2\]                 \[\Rightarrow \]               \[{{W}_{A}}:{{W}_{B}}=2:1.\]
