    B) Rs. 1586

    C) Rs. 1496

    D) Rs. 1596

    E) None of these

    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

10 notebooks in a day then in two weeks
    (i.e. 14 days)
                \[=14\times 10=140\,\text{note}\,\text{books}\]
    Commission earned \[=45\times \frac{4}{100}\times 140=Rs.\,252\]
6 pencil boxes in a day then in two weeks (i .e. 14 days)
                            \[=14\times 6\]
                            \[=84\,\text{pencil}\,\text{boxes}\]
    Commission earned \[=80\times \frac{20}{100}\times 84=Rs.\,1344\]
    Total commission earned
    \[=252+1344=Rs.\,1596\]
