    Solution :

     Let the thickness of the bottom be \[x\] cm. Then, \[[(660-10)\times (520-10)\times (220-x)]=16000\times 1000\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[650\times 510\times (220-x)=16000\times 1000\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[(220-x)=\frac{16000\,\,\,\,1000}{640\,\,\,\,\,\,\,500}=500\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[x=280\]cm \[2.8\]m.
