     Let the CP of 1 diary and 1 calendar be Rs. \[x\] and Rs. \[y\] respectively. According to the question, \[8x+10y=3138\frac{3}{2}\] Multiplying both sides by \[\frac{3}{2},\] we have.  \[12x+15y=3138\,\frac{3}{2}\]            = Rs. \[4707\]
