     Principal = Rs. 50,600 Time = 5 years Amount = Rs. 65,780 Simple interest = Amount - Principal \[=65,780-50,600=18,180\] \[S.I.=\frac{P\,\,\,\,\,\,R\,\,\,\,\,T}{100}\] \[15,180=\frac{50,600\,\,\,\,R\,\,\,\,\,5}{100}\] \[\Rightarrow \]50,600       R    5 \[\Rightarrow \] 15,180      100 \[\therefore R=\frac{15,180\,\,\,\,\,100}{50,600\,\,\,\,\,5}=6\] \[\therefore \] Rate of Interest = 6% p.a.
