     Let the number be x. According to the question, \[{{x}^{2}}+{{(27)}^{2}}=7618\] \[\Rightarrow \,{{x}^{2}}+729=7618\] \[\Rightarrow \,{{x}^{2}}=7618-729=6889\] \[\therefore x=\sqrt{6889}=83\]
