    A)  Rs. 2,40,700

    B)  Rs. 2,70,700

    C)  Rs. 2,86,500

    D)  Rs. 2,63,000

    E)  Rs. 2,52.800

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

     Total expenses of Ramu = Rs. (6000 + 750 + 2500 + 300) = Rs. 9550 If Ramu's monthly salary be Rs. x, then \[\frac{x\times 40}{100}=9550\]             \[\Rightarrow x=\frac{9550\times 100}{40}=Rs.\,23875\] \[\therefore \] Ramu's annual salary =Rs. \[\left( 12\times 23875 \right)\] = Rs. 286500
