    Ratio of efficiencies\[\begin{matrix}    {} & A & : & B & : & C  \\    = & \frac{4}{3} & : & \frac{1}{3} & : & 1  \\    = & 4 & : & 1 & : & 3  \\ \end{matrix}\] With 3 efficiency C takes 16 days \[\therefore \]With (4 + 1 + 3 =) 8 efficiency they will take \[\frac{16\times 3}{8}=6\] days
