    Solution :

    Let initially there be x men. Then, \[(x+10)\] men can finish the work in\[(80-10)=70\] days. Now, by formula, \[{{M}_{1}}\times {{D}_{1}}={{M}_{2}}\times {{D}_{2}}\] \[80\times x=(x+10)\times 70\] or,\[80x=70x+700\] or,\[10x=700\] \[\therefore \]\[x=70\] men
