    Solution :

    Let the sides of field are 5x and 3x respectively. \[\therefore \]      \[1440=\frac{1}{2}(5x+3x)\times 24\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{144\times 2}{8\times 24}=15\] \[\therefore \] Length of larger side \[=5\times 15=75\,m\]
