    Solution :

    Let the number = x According to the question,             \[\frac{3}{2}x-\frac{x}{3/2}=10\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{3x}{2}-\frac{2x}{3}=10\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{9x-4x}{6}=10\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{10\times 6}{5}=12\]
