    Let the age of P and Q and 5x yr and 6x yr, 4 yr ago. \[\therefore \]      \[5x+4+6x+4=52\] \[\Rightarrow \]                    \[11x=44\] \[\Rightarrow \]                       \[x=4\] \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{P}{Q}=\frac{24}{28}=\frac{6}{7}=6:7\]
