    Solution :

    \[\because \] \[{{r}_{1}}=\frac{11.2}{2}cm=5.6\] and \[{{r}_{2}}=5.6+0.4=6\,cm\] and \[h=21\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Volume of metal \[=\pi (r_{2}^{2}-r_{1}^{2})h\]                         \[=\frac{22}{7}\times ({{6}^{2}}-{{(5.6)}^{2}})\times 21\]                         \[=\text{ }66\times (36-31.36)\]                         \[=66\times 4.64\]                         \[=306.24\,c{{m}^{3}}\]
