    Total of 3 months production \[=12000\] Total of 12 months production \[=12\times 4375\]             \[=~52500\] \[\therefore \] Total of 9 months production \[=52500-12000\] \[=40500\] \[\Rightarrow \] Average production for 9 months             \[=\frac{40500}{9}=4500\]
