    Solution :

    Let the width of rectangle = x cm \[\therefore \] Length of rectangle = 3x cm \[\therefore \]      \[8\sqrt{10}=\sqrt{(9+1){{x}^{2}}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=8\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Length of rectangle \[=24\,cm\] and breadth of rectangle \[=8\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Perimeter of rectangle \[=2(24+8)=64\,cm\]
