    Solution :

    Let total quantity \[=x\,L\] Quantity of milk \[=\frac{2x}{5}L\] And quantity of water \[=\frac{3x}{5}L\] \[\therefore \] Since 50% of mixture is replaced by wafer. \[\therefore \] Remaining quantity of milk             \[=\frac{2x}{5}\times \frac{1}{2}=\frac{x}{5}L\] And quantity of water \[=\frac{3x}{10}+\frac{x}{2}\]             \[=\frac{8x}{10}=\frac{4x}{5}L\] Hence the concentration of the solution is reduced by 50%
