    Solution :

    Quantity of milk \[=\frac{3}{5}\times 45=27\,L\] And quantity of water \[=\frac{2}{5}\times 45=18L\] Let x L of water should be added.             \[\frac{27}{18+x}=\frac{9}{11}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[297=162+9x\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[135=9x\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=15\]
