    We know that The area of circle \[=\pi {{r}^{2}}=\frac{\pi {{D}^{2}}}{4}\] [where D : Diameter of circle] and Circumference of circle             \[=2{{\pi }^{2}}r=\pi D\] Now, according to question,             \[\frac{\pi {{D}^{2}}}{4}=\pi D\]             \[{{D}^{2}}=4D\] or         \[D(D-4)=0\] or         D = 4
