Two statement are given and followed by four conclusions respectively. You have to consider the two statements to be true, even if it seems to be at variance from the commonly known facts. You have to decide which of the given conclusions, if any, follows from the given statements. Statements: Madhuri is beautiful. She can dance. Conclusions: Dancers are beautiful. Beautiful women are dancers. Some beautiful women can also dance. If ugly, one can't dance.

    A) All are true

    B) None is true

    C) Only III is true

    D) Only I is true

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

According to conclusion I dance are beautiful but statement says Madhuri is beautiful. So, conclusion I is wrong. II. Madhuri is beautiful and she can dance doesn't mean all beautiful women are dancers. So, conclusion II is wrong. III. Madhuri is beautiful and she can dance. It's sure, some beautiful women can also dance. So, conclusion III is true. IV. Not sure ugly women dance or not. So, conclusion IV is wrong. Hence, only III is true.
