    Solution :

       Let \[l=4x\] and \[b=9x\] Area of the rectangle \[=l\times b\]                                 \[144=4x\times 9x\] \[\Rightarrow \,\,\,{{x}^{2}}=\frac{144}{36}\Rightarrow \,\,{{x}^{2}}=4\] \[\therefore \,\,\,\,x=2\] Now, \[l=4\times 2=8\text{ }cm\] and \[b=9\times 2=18\text{ }cm\] Now, perimeter of rectangle \[=2\,(l+b)=2(8+18)\] \[=2\times 26=\]
