    Solution :

     Let the number of 1 rupee, 50 paise and 10 paise coins are 3x, 8x and 10x. then, \[3x+\frac{8x}{2}+\frac{10x}{10}=112\Rightarrow 8x=112\] \[x=14,\] No. of 50 paise coins \[=8\times 14\] \[=\]
