    Solution :

    The highest cost of each book = HCF of \[Rs.\text{ }223.20\]and \[Rs.\text{ }165.60\] \[=~Rs.\,\,7.20\] Least number of books purchased \[=\frac{223.20}{7.2}=31\] Number of books sold \[=\frac{165.60}{7.2}=23\] Remaining books \[=31-23=\]
